Tour of Springvale Botanical Cemetery, including the Care & Wellbeing Program

Join us for a tour of the beautiful Springvale Botanical Cemetery, including the Care & Wellbeing Program.

We will commence with a slow-paced walking tour, starting at Café Vita et flores.

The tour will explore some of the beautifully designed spaces including Saint Padre Pio Mausoleum, Song He Xin Yuan, Office of Australian War Graves and the Garden of No Distant Place.

You may even meet the resident goats who help to support the environmental sustainability strategy.

The walk will be followed by an exploration of the unique Care & Wellbeing Program, where you can try out the quiet reflection spaces and the range of care and wellbeing programs provided to the community, including mindfulness and qigong.

Program:
Meet at Café Vita et flores where we will be met by Leah Slee, Community and Partnership Lead and Lea Grier, CCW Program Lead.

10am: Welcome and introductions
10am -11am: Walking tour of Springvale Botanical Cemetery.
11am – 12noon: Explore the Care & Wellbeing Program, where you can try out the quiet reflection spaces and a range of care and wellbeing programs provided to the community, including mindfulness and qigong.
12noon: Official tour concludes. Please feel free to have lunch at Café Vita et flores. We will book a table for anyone who wishes to stay on for lunch.
