Grief And the Nervous System
Somatic approaches with people bereaved by suicide
With Kristina Sass-Nielsen and Narelle Fowler
Are you curious about the nervous system and how grief shows up in the body and mind?

This discussion group shares experiences and understandings that have emerged from developing and offering a trauma informed body-based group program for people bereaved by suicide.
It has been developed and offered by Kristina Sass-Nielsen and Narelle Fowler at Support After Suicide and each program runs for 4 weeks.
In this discussion group you will explore the following:
- How Somatic Experiencing, Trauma Informed Yoga and Art Therapy can be applied working with grief.
- Understanding our nervous system and the impact of grief and trauma
- A somatic invitation to meet our grief and strengthening our capacity to hold the grief, practicing choice making to support the experience.
